So, since the pandemic, remote work has become the most popular forms of work in the world! Obviously, during that time, we all were taking the day hour by hour. Because that was all that we could do. But, now most people prefer remote work. But why? Why are more people opting for the remote job as opposed to working in a brick-and-mortar building? Let’s explore!

For the longest time, the main jobs that people looked for were the ones in buildings. You wanted a good paying job, with good benefits, and a good retirement plan. Which is what people still want. But, see back in that time, people stayed on jobs a lot longer than they do now. People would stay on jobs and they would take all kinds of mess from people employers just for the sake of keeping their job. Expenses were a lot smaller back then, than they are now. But, still, expensive for that time. So, where people now are comfortable being rude and disrespectful, people will walk from a job, people couldn’t afford to do that as much back then. People were simply told to suck it up and deal with it.

But, now it’s a whole new world. People don’t feel as lost if they walk off of a job. Some people are able to find a job instantly if they walk off from another one, Then, there are most that have multiple jobs, like I had at time. So, if they leave a job, they might not stress as much.

But now, there are more options available for people to work than before. Hence, remote work. Many people have made that decision, I completely agree and understand. There are too many different personalities at these jobs nowadays! And they are just not getting any better. It’s just unbelievable. And that is why most people are doing this.

Remote work has been chosen for all of those reasons. But, then on a thought that has nothing to do with the unnecessary chaos, for many people it saves on gas! (Which is definitely more appreciated than ever before!) For many people, they had serious commutes. And depending upon where you live, the traffic is insane! That is one of the biggest complaints that people have, long commutes and insane traffic. Remote work is more convenient and, in most cases, it pays better. That is crazy to me. How so many remote jobs are paying better than ever!

Honestly, this is one of the ideas that I have. I know that I have to find a brand new career. And that is one of the reasons why I am working to make content creation work for me.
