What’s a word or phrase that annoys you?
A phrase that bothers me is, “Stay in your Lane!” I used to work for someone that said all of the time and it seemed to be so dismissive to me. Because any idea that I had, was met with that phrase. Now, I understand that I was Secretary. So, I really wasn’t supposed to come up with ideas. But, I just hated that phrase so much.
But, in some cases, it is the best advice. There are those times when staying in your Lane, will be the only option.
